Just want to say “Wow!” I just returned from the Post Office a little while ago and was tickled to find a parcel there for me…a large parcel…all the way from Tennessee! So I kind of saved it for a little while, till I put away the grocery shopping, made tea, got comfy, etc…and then opened it. “Wow!”, again. Thank you sooo much for that lovely and generous prize! I’m looking forward to making some cosy neckware with that alpaca (it’s very chilly here right now); have never knitted with alpaca before and I can tell by the softness of it that I’m going to love the experience…and for sure I will be savouring the books.
Most appreciatively,

I’ve named the blog "slipping through my fingers" for two reasons. One is to relate to the act of knitting and the other speaks to the passing of time. Slipping yarn through my fingers is an incredible pleasure and a way to get my mind off things. The second is to signify my inability to hold on. Try as I might, I cannot keep hold of everything. Time, the girls, my husband, my self all slip from my grasp at varying rates of speed. I think I’m here to learn to loosen my grip.
YEAH!
those are adorable! you did an awesome job! :3
